Terms of use

Terms for this website.

These terms cover the use of this website. Each product has its own license, and customers who buy from us have a written agreement that comes first.

Effective October 17, 2026.

Who we are

This website is operated by Tompkins Software Systems LLC, an Illinois limited liability company ("we," "us"). By using the site you agree to these terms.

The text, design, and logo files on this site belong to Tompkins Software Systems LLC unless stated otherwise. You may quote from the site and use the logo files on the brand page to refer to us accurately. You may not present our content as your own or use our name or logo to suggest an endorsement we have not given.

Product licenses

  • Public Works Safety Training is released under the MIT License.
  • The Part 107 Prep study site's code is released under the MIT License and its study content under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0. The Part 107 Prep mobile app is published by Tompkins Software Systems LLC under the terms shown in the App Store and Google Play listings.
  • Painless Project Management's demo build is provided as is for evaluation and personal use.
  • Hosted products and custom builds are governed by the written agreement with the customer.

Where a product license and these terms differ, the product license governs the product.

Accuracy

We work to keep this site accurate and we date the information that changes. Even so, product details, prices, and availability can change, and the site is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. Nothing on this site is legal, safety, or regulatory advice. Part 107 Prep in particular is a study aid; confirm anything you rely on for a real flight against current FAA regulations and guidance.
